untereiner.loic.ul@gmail.com pierre.ceresuela@gmail.com Since 2024, Loïc Untereiner & Pierre Ceresuela have been working on a collaborative project at the intersection of mycelium, design, and sound. Together, they are exploring the power dynamics between the cold, sterile aesthetics of the laboratory and the organic, sensitive beauty of living things. Through their research, they strive to offer a fresh perspective on mycelium, viewing it not only as a tool for ecological degradation or a biotechnological asset, but also as an aesthetic agent in its own right. They believe that by staging the balance of power between organic and artificial structures in a non-predictive method, it can suggest new ways of cohabiting with non-human intelligence. By nature, mycelium is a deep fundamental network that connects elements together in the ecosystem and can thus be a powerful catalyst for rethinking our links with each other and our living spaces. Their goal is to enhance its transformative power, reveal its subtle discreet beauty, and to highlight its pivotal role in contemporary environmental issues.
